This month we are getting to know ishga's Development Coordinator, Laura Robertson.

What is your role at ishga?

I’ve worked as Development Coordinator since 2020, after originally joining the team 6 years ago as Trainer and Account Manager.

What do you enjoy most about working at ishga?

Since starting with ishga 2018, I have really enjoyed watching the growth and development of the company.  It is exciting to be a part of such an innovative brand with beautiful products and strong values at its core, where the wellness of employees is valued. I have also really enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside and learn from so many knowledgeable industry professionals, from both our accounts and my colleagues.

What does a typical day look like for you?

Logging all new wholesale account enquiries and replying accordingly, acting as main point of contact to our spa accounts for online training enquiries and registrations, taking meeting minutes and communicating updates internally.  Annually, I coordinate the guestlist for the ishga Conference. (which has increased dramatically in such a short time!)

If you weren't working for ishga, what do you think you would be doing?

Something in the field of spa or skincare. Or an account management role.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love yoga, running, cooking and getting outdoors with my family.

What's your favourite holiday?

I ran the Loch Ness Marathon and raised £2000 for Lewy Body Dementia in 2017.  I hope one day to do another!
