We’d like to wish all our wonderful customers a very Happy New Year, and for everyone, we hope for a real breakthrough with the horrible restrictions we’re all facing. Although it’s so tough just now, it’s looking more promising as the new vaccination programme gets underway.
2020 has been such a difficult journey, for all of us, in our own way, but especially for healthcare professionals, frontline staff, and those who have lost loved ones. Businesses have faced unimaginable challenge, and at ishga we’ve had to adapt the way that we work, sell and distribute our products.
We’ve completely transformed our online business, investing in a new website and online marketing, plus expanding our sales and distribution networks to Australia and the US. Our efforts have been really successful, and our ishga family would like to thank you all for your loyalty and support!
At the start of the first UK national lockdown in March of last year, we rallied to produce a new hand sanitiser for front line services. This was developed into the ishga Hand Sanitiser, which is now hugely popular. With fragrant oils of juniper, lavender and lemongrass, it smells amazing, protects, and will leave your hands nourished, not dry or sore.
In fact, all our products have gained so much attention that they’ve been featured in national press, such as The Scotsman, Country Homes & Interiors, The Independent, Metro, The Daily Express, Vegan Life, Professional Beauty and more. We’re also proud to have gained some amazing new partners and brand champions at truly wonderful spas.
Our beautiful Hebridean range of organic skincare has helped promote the benefits of natural goodness and sensual relaxation at a time of acute national distress, and we’re thrilled to tell you that we’ve been shortlisted in no less than five categories for the National Health and Beauty Awards for 2020.
We’re be keeping our fingers crossed for success in the following categories: Best Hand Cream, Best Body Scrub, Anti-ageing Champions, Male Grooming All Rounders, and Soil Association Certified Essentials. Featured products include our Anti-oxidant Marine Cream - which won Best Moisturiser in last year’s Top Sante Awards.
At ishga, we’re really looking forward to 2021, as our product range continues to delight, and come to the attention of more and more people across the world, lifting their tired spirits, transforming their skin, and bringing them a much-needed, refreshing taste of the natural beauty and goodness of the Scottish Hebrides.
Most of all, we hope for a gradual return to normality. It seems a long time ago that we were all able to hug our nearest and dearest, enjoy trips away and holidays, meet and mingle with our friends at restaurants, in cinemas, at theatres or with live music. For the time being we just wish you the very best, and hope that a little ishga magic continues to provide some much needed care and relaxation at home.
